2025 Kobukan Karate Federation Camp

The 2025 Annual KKF Camp was held in Fort Smith Arkansas. In attendance were students from Alaska to Ireland and all points in between. Training and instruction canvassed Ryukyu Kobudo for the bo and tonfa including kata and associated application and disarms. Okinawan White Crane Kata and applications as well as Matsumura Seito Shorin Ryu kata and applications.

Key instructors were Hanshi Larry vellucci, Renshi Glen Martinez, Sensei Shawn Clapp and myself. The three day event exceed everyone's expectations and wer overwhelmed with the amount of knowledge that was shared. Great training, fantastic camaraderie, and an awesome experience. On a more somber note, We alos held a small memorial and tribute to Kasi Velluci who, passed away a month before the camp. She was potsumously promoted to Hanshi 8th Dan and all that knew and trained with her felt heavy hearts. She will be sorely missed.
