Renshi Glenn Ritter from Pasco, WA, was promoted to Kyoshi  7th Dan for his dedication and commitment of over 30 years to the Okinawa Martial  Arts  disciplines and teaching. Well deserved and long overdue. Congratulations Glenn.

The 2026 Kobukan Federation International Karate Kobujutsu Camp Was a huge success for all that attended. Students from Germany, Ireland, Pennsylvania, Alaska, California, Montana and Texas all received advanced training in Matusmura Seito Shorin Ryu, Okinawan Hakutsuru and Ryukyu Kobujutsu with a emphasis on interactive combative applications concepts and principles derived from various kata. Several advanced promotions were awared for Shodan, Nidan and Sandan testing in all three areas of focus. Everyone enjoyed the comradere, fellowship and post training commune of ideas and experiences.
